This vehicle is engineered and tested in the seventies. In that time also in Europe there were many bad roads and therefore DOCC has a robust wheel-suspension and enough ground clearance. This makes this vehicle much more reliable on the poor road conditions of Africa then most modern vehicles. DOCC is rear-wheel driven and therefore less sensitive for crash-damage. Because software, high tech electronics and plastic parts are minimised the vehicle is easy to repair. The costs per km are very low with a fuel-consumption of 16 km/litre. (eder 6,25 lt / 100 km)
